David Negrin is a professor, VR director, screenwriter and non-profit founder.
He is currently an Assistant Professor of emerging media, film, and television at Ithaca College. He was previously an Adjunct Professor of film and television at Hofstra University and The New School in New York, NY.
He was Executive Director of the NYC Screenwriters Collective, the largest non-profit screenwriting workshop in New York City from 2007-2015.
His areas of research in New Media are: Virtual Reality, Transmedia Storytelling, and Immersive Theater. His areas of research in Film Studies include: pedagogy of collaborative writing.
David was born and raised in New York City. He is an alumnus of the Bronx High School of Science.
